Five people died in two crashes on Arkansas roads Tuesday and Wednesday, according to preliminary reports from Arkansas State Police.

Zachariah Contant, 43, of Ozark, was killed around 4:49 p.m. Tuesday after the 2012 Yamaha motorcycle he was riding west on Interstate 40 swerved into the rear of a westbound 2020 Dodge Ram near U.S. 64 in Lamar, according to a report from state police.

A trooper investigating the crash reported that the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time.

Around 5:27 p.m. Wednesday, a collision on South Division Street in rural Mississippi County killed Ella Gall, 19; Linzy Gall, 56; Rachel Gall, 48; and Clyde O’Neal, 79; all of Blytheville, according to a state police report.

Ella Gall was driving a 2025 Hyundai Palisade north on South Division Street when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a southbound 2019 Ford F-150 driven by O’Neal, the report states.

The Hyundai, in which Linzy and Rachel Gall were passengers, crashed off the road after impact, the report states.

A trooper investigating the wreck reported that it was overcast and the road was dry at the time.
