A man identified as Sean Don was fatally shot outside a South Memphis convenience store on Friday evening, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).

Authorities say the shooting occurred just before 5:00 p.m. at the South Memphis Market, located at 1432 Elvis Presley Boulevard.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 4:57 p.m., where they located a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim, later identified as Sean Don, was transported in critical condition to Regional One Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

At this time, no suspects have been detained, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Police have not yet released a possible motive or suspect description.
