The York County Coroner’s Office has identified the man killed in a double shooting that occurred Wednesday night in the City of York.
The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Jaliel Williams, who was fatally shot multiple times inside a residence located in the 600 block of Front Street.
Emergency responders pronounced Williams dead at the scene.
A 17-year-old male was also injured during the incident and is currently recovering from gunshot wounds.
His condition has not been publicly released.
According to the York City Police Department, investigators believe a third individual is responsible for the shooting.
Authorities have not yet determined whether Williams and the teen were specifically targeted in the attack.
The investigation remains in its early stages.
This incident marks the third homicide of 2025 in the City of York.
Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information to come forward.
